The Vita Carnis (or simply Carnis) genus (Latin for: Living Meat), is a genus of meat creatures. They have been on Earth since 1931, but had an explosive population increase close to the end of World War II. They have been challenging humanity's place on the food chain since then. They greatly resemble creatures without skin, or as the Living Meat Research Documentary claims: "...like store-bought meat.", as such they are mostly made of organs, tissues and bones. They mostly consume organic material, such as other animals (excluding their Carnis relatives).
