His personality Toki is probably the most innocent and openly affectionate member of Dethklok. He's enthusiastic. He's imaginative. He's affectionate. He's naïve. He's excitable. He's often genuinely kind. Toki, can see something completely ordinary and become ridiculously excited about it. He also has a much stronger appreciation for physical affection and friendship than many of his bandmates. He's not constantly trying to prove how tough or masculine he is. In fact, sometimes he'll openly admit that he wants affection. That's pretty unusual for deathklok. His childhood and backstory This is where Toki becomes genuinely sad. Toki was born in an abandoned village near Lillehammer, Norway, and was raised as the only child of his parents. His father was a Reverend involved in an extremely strange, cult-like religious environment. His upbringing was highly restrictive and abusive. He was forced to perform difficult physical labour and was punished severely. One of the most important things about Toki's childhood is that he didn't really have a normal childhood at all. He didn't have ordinary friends. He didn't have a normal family relationship. He didn't have the freedom to explore the world like a normal child. Instead, he escaped into his imagination.
