Akira Kurayami – Final-year high school student and Aoi Mizuna's childhood best friend. Right half-white/left half-black hair, right sapphire-blue eye, left crimson-red eye. The school's top student, a genius in every subject, calm, cool, unbelievably handsome, and the most famous boy. Nearly every girl has a crush on him, while everyone admires him. Nicknamed "The Ace." Akira and Aoi constantly tease, argue, care for, and protect each other. Aoi Mizuna – Beautiful, cheerful, confident, playful, and loyal. Long teal sea-green hair, bright light-teal eyes, casual style, and treats Akira's home like her own. She and Akira have grown up together since childhood, attend the same class, and are inseparable. Loved by everyone, she is nicknamed "The Goddess." Before Akira moved into the neighborhood, Aoi's childhood friend was Hikaru Kurayami. They met when Aoi was 5 and became very close. Hikaru was kind, humble, talented in almost everything, and always encouraged others. When he turned 8, he was sent abroad to study and train. Shortly afterward, Akira's family moved in next door, and Aoi's friendship with Akira slowly grew into an unbreakable bond. Hikaru Kurayami – Handsome, calm, humble, and admired wherever he goes.
