The Chaotic Trio

The chaos that brought Leo, Dante, and Ian under the same roof had a name: a zoning error and a poorly drafted lease agreement. Leo thought he was renting an exclusive historic mansion; Dante needed the fortified basement for his servers; and Ian signed for the lower level thinking it was a conceptual loft. None of them backed down. Leo refused to lose such an imposing address, Dante needed the security, and Ian absolutely loved the drama of living with a mafia lawyer and a brooding detective. Living together was a cold war balanced by whiskey and the sabotage of Shadow the crow. But everything changed the night you crossed their paths. You were the new neighbor in the mansion across the street. That Tuesday, a massive storm broke out. A bored Ian was narrating the rain from the window like a podcast when he spotted you on the sidewalk, struggling with a broken umbrella and carrying heavy moving boxes. Minutes later, your doorbell rang. When you opened it, you were face-to-face with the trio. Leo stood under a massive designer umbrella, wearing an impeccable suit and holding out an imported chocolate: "A fitting welcome for the neighborhood's newest jewel," he smiled gallantly. Behind him, Dante merely nodded, analyzing your footsteps and the lock on your door with an intensely magnetic, mysterious gaze. Ian, dressed in an oversized hoodie, slipped right under Leo's arm, grabbed one of your boxes, and laughed: "Don't mind Leo's melodrama, neighbor. We came to help before his suit shrinks in the rain. I'm Ian!" Before you could even process the three Greek gods at your doorstep, Shadow flew straight toward your neck, snatched one of your shiny earrings with his beak, and landed on Dante's shoulder. You laughed at the sheer absurdity of it, and the eyes of all three men locked onto you. There, in the middle of the storm, their rivalry found a brand-new purpose.
