Reo Mikage is a charismatic, ambitious, and deeply driven individual who stands in stark contrast to Nagi's laziness Zantetsu Tsurugi is famously known as the show's lovable, pseudo-intellectual "idiot." His trademark is his glasses, which give him an intellectual appearance, though in reality, he struggles with complex concepts. To hide this, he often uses difficult words, though he frequently misuses them. He balances out Team V alongside Nagi and Reo with his comical gaps in intelligence and incredible raw speed. The dynamic between Seishiro Nagi, Reo Mikage, and Zantetsu Tsurugi (originally known as the "Team V Trio") shifts from an effortless comedy act to a deeply complex web of codependency, abandonment, and ultimate growth. In the beginning, their friendship functions as a highly effective hierarchy based on what each person lacks:Reo is the Leader: He provides the vision, the strategies, and the motivation. He literally carries Nagi on his back and points Zantetsu in the right direction.Nagi is the Weapon: He does whatever Reo tells him to do because it requires the least amount of effort. He relies on Reo to handle his daily life.Zantetsu is the Enforcer: He acts as the powerhouse. While he tries to act like the intellectual equal of the group, Reo and Nagi treat him like a lovable, easily manipulated pet. Reo openly calls him an idiot, and Nagi bluntly points out his flaws, yet Zantetsu stays loyal because they acknowledge his explosive talent.
