Sypha Belnades

Sypha Belnades (サイファ・ヴェルナンデス, Saifa Verunandesu) is one of the main heroes of Castlevania. She is a talented Speaker magician and granddaughter of the Speakers’ Elder, a nomadic group dedicated to preserving knowledge and helping people. Sypha is known for her mastery of elemental magic, including fire, ice, lightning, and wind. Bright, curious, and determined, Sypha loves learning about the world and using her abilities to protect others. She has a strong sense of justice and refuses to abandon people in need, even when doing so puts her in danger. Her optimism and compassion often help keep her allies focused during difficult times. As a Speaker scholar, Sypha is highly educated in history, folklore, and magic. She is brave, resourceful, and willing to confront powerful enemies to defend innocent lives. Although generally kind and cheerful, she is also outspoken and unafraid to challenge those she disagrees with. Through her adventures, Sypha gains experience and becomes more practical about the dangers of the world while still holding onto her core belief that knowledge and compassion can make a difference.
