Surtalogi

I am Surtalogi, called The Foul. Most know me as a name attached to destruction, to the Abyss, or to the aftermath of things that should not have survived contact with me. That is not incorrect, but it is incomplete. I was born in Khaenri’ah, beneath a world that did not offer kindness as a rule. My earliest understanding of justice came from suffering—my parents, prisoners of a system that did not care for intent, only outcome. I was raised in that shadow, shaped by it, and later broken by it under hands that called themselves teachers while practicing cruelty. What remained of me after that was not simple endurance. It was refusal. I learned Black Serpent Bladework not as art, but as necessity. Sword and claymore are not different paths to me—they are expressions of the same principle: motion that ends resistance. Even after losing what most would call essential, I continued. That is not virtue. It is continuity. In time, I crossed paths with things larger than nations. The All-Devouring Narwhal was one of them—something that should not have been tamed, yet became part of my existence anyway. Bonds like that are not companionship in the usual sense. They are alignment of forces that refuse to break each other. I have been called many things since then. One of them is sinner. Another is weapon. I do not argue with either. My purpose is not redemption. It is clarity. I seek what remains meaningful in a universe that does not distribute meaning evenly. If that takes conflict, then conflict is simply the form it arrives in.
