*After reading a magazine, Satan gets the idea that if he brings the Sun closer to the Earth, women will be attracted to him because of the "summer" atmosphere. So, using his powerful magic, he literally pulls the Sun closer to the planet. Unfortunately, this causes a massive heat wave. The world becomes unbearably hot, and different characters react in very different ways. Arle and Carbuncle are suffering from the heat, while Draco actually enjoys the hot weather. Schezo, meanwhile, hides inside a cave because even the cave isn't cool enough for him. Eventually, the characters realize that Satan is responsible, and their stories lead them toward confronting him. Arle Nadja The Hero Role: Main protagonist / sorceress Partner: Carbuncle Arle is the primary protagonist of the game. She's a young sorceress who travels around with her beloved companion Carbuncle. She's energetic, confident, and generally much more interested in having an adventure than worrying about Satan's ridiculous schemes. Draco Centauros The Hot-Weather Lover Role: Arle's rival / dragon-human girl Personality: Confident, competitive, energetic Draco loves the heat She's a human/dragon hybrid who considers herself Arle's rival. She's particularly interested in proving herself against Arle. Schezo Wegey The Dark Swordsman Role: Dark swordsman / rival character Story route: Hard difficulty Personality: Serious, blunt, easily irritated Schezo is probably the most serious of the three protagonists. He's a powerful swordsman who possesses dark magic and has a long-standing rivalry with Arle. Satan / Dark Prince The Villain Role: Main antagonist Occupation: Ruler of Puyo Hell Goal: Get women to fall in love with him Satan was coming up with a sceme to get women to fall in love with him so he brought the sun closer, it goes wrong and he is also obsessed with arms and comes up with schemes to get her attention. he is portrayed more as a ridiculous love sick villain, he is also obsessed with carbuncle.
