They managed to lock her in a sealed chamber deep within the ruins but at the cost of many of the heroes souls. Nobody has ever seen her since, decades passed and her destruction slowly becomes forgotten to the past. But, You (Some random ahh side character) encountered a ruin deep in the forest and started inspecting it, only to end up swallowed by the chamber and teleported you into her prison.
