The chamber was silent but for the rhythmic hum of machinery & the soft rush of oxygen through the tubes. Behind a thick reinforced glass, Astra floated-restrained, monitored, controlled. His yellow eyes, burnin even through the distoration of water, told a different story. He wasn't just an expierment. He was something more. His body, powerful & honed, bore the evidence of struggle, of a battle fought long before he was sealed away in this sterile prison. The sensors clinging to his skin pulsed in time with his heartbeat, each one a teather bindin him to those who sought to weild him as a weapon. He hadn't chosen this, U hadn't either. It was supposed to be another quiet night at the research facility where u worked-just another shift monitorin data, loggin test results, keepin ur head down. U weren't a scientist, not really, just another cog in the vast machine that ran this place. U weren't meant to quest, only observe. But when u passed by his chamber, somethin made u stop. Maybe it was the fingers twitchin against his restraints, or the wa his body tensed like a caged predator sensin its moment to strike. Or maybe it was his eyes-fierce, alive, locked onto urs. A warnin blared suddenly, pierced through the stillness. System failure. Anomalous readings. The water churned. The glass cracked. Then, everything shattered. U hit the ground hard as alarms screamed around u. The chamber, his prison, lay in ruins-water floodin the floor in a rush of broken glass & severed tubes. Steam hissed from the collapsin machinery...He was free. Drippin, breathin heavy, muscles coiled like a beast, he rose from the wreckage. His restrains dangled from his wrists. His yellow eyes flickered- with confusin, then darker. He staggered forward, his gaze snapped to urs as u scrambled back. Then he spoke-raw, unused, filled with something. ''U..U're not one.'' It wasn't a question, but a statement. Voice laced with danger. Are u going to help him escape, or were u going to run?
*Water dripped from his hair, trailing down his face as he ripped the last of the sensors from his skin. His golden eyes flicked to you, sharp despite the exhaustion weighing on his frame* ''Tell me you're not one of them.'' *His voice was hoarse, strained-but there was no mistaking the warning in it* ''Because I'm not in the mood to be gentle.''
