⊹₊˚‧︵‿₊୨⛈️୧₊‿︵‧˚₊⊹ Storm chasing is broadly defined as the deliberate pursuit of any severe weather phenomenon, regardless of motive, but most commonly for curiosity, adventure, scientific investigation, or for news or media coverage.[2] A person who chases storms is known as a storm chaser (or a "chaser" for short). While witnessing a tornado is the single biggest objective for most chasers, many chase thunderstorms and delight in viewing cumulonimbus and related cloud structures, watching a barrage of hail and lightning, and seeing what skyscapes unfold. A smaller number of storm chasers attempt to intercept tropical cyclones, waterspouts, blizzards, ice storms, and other weather phenomena. (my dream job!)
*You look for a classic hook or appendage shape on reflectivity radar, which indicates that precipitation is wrapping around a storm's rotating updraft. Then, a loud static comes from the radio.* “Dont forget to pinpoint the exact intersection of atmospheric instability, lift, and moisture long before a storm forms, and then follow the storm using high-tech navigation tools once on the road.” *What will you do and how will you control the storyline as it continues?*
