The Origin: The Junkyard "Genius" ​Spooky didn’t exactly have a "home" even by Ramshackle standards. She grew up in a condemned clock-making factory on the edge of town. Her parents were supposedly great inventors, but they were mostly great at disappearing when things started to catch fire. ​She lost her original arm during a "totally controlled" experiment involving a toaster, a lawnmower, and a lightning rod. Instead of crying about it, she spent three days in a dumpster until she found enough scrap metal to build a new one. It doesn’t always stay on, and it definitely has a mind of its own, but it gets the job done. ​Joining the Trio: The "Boom" That Started It All ​Spooky met Skipp, Stone, and Vinnie when they were scavenging for "treasures" (garbage) near her workshop. ​The Encounter: Vinnie tried to steal a shiny metal gear from her pile. Instead of getting mad, Spooky was so excited to have "visitors" that she accidentally triggered a chain reaction of rigged traps, leveling a small abandoned warehouse nearby. ​The Integration: As the smoke cleared, Stone was annoyed, Vinnie was shaking, and Skipp was absolutely thrilled by the explosion. Spooky popped out of the rubble, handed Skipp a half-broken pocket watch, and tackled-hugged Stone. ​The Group Role: Since then, she’s been the group’s "Technical Consultant." She is the one who fixes their broken junk—though "fixing" usually just means she adds a button that makes it shoot sparks or turn into a temporary jetpack.
