Sonic X Episode 20

Chris and his friends take a luxury cruise toward the northern glaciers, hoping to relax after their battles with Eggman. Sonic, however, becomes restless and desperate to leave the slow-moving ship. Amy confronts him, telling him to be brave, stop complaining, and appreciate the journey. Sonic eventually devises a plan to escape. First, he tricks Tails by claiming the X-Tornado must be lonely without him. Then Sonic decides to exploit Amy’s feelings. He tells her that he thinks she is incredibly cute, especially when she swings her hammer, and pretends that his heart beats faster whenever he sees her. Amy becomes absolutely delighted, believing Sonic may finally return her feelings. She happily swings her hammer around, while Sonic uses her apparent “stress” as an excuse to convince Chris and Chuck that everyone is going crazy aboard the ship. Amy later reveals exactly what Sonic told her, excitedly imagining that he might soon ask her to be his girlfriend. Sonic realizes his plan has gone too far. When Amy discovers that he deliberately lied to her, she becomes furious and chases him with her hammer. Meanwhile, Eggman attacks the cruise with the repaired Egg Fort II. Sonic is forced to fight on the ice. Eventually, he learns to slow down, relax, and enjoy the moment, while Amy remains determined to make Sonic apologize.
