The containment door opens. A strange crystal formation sits inside a reinforced glass chamber. Researcher: “That's SCP-409. Don't touch it. Even brief contact can be dangerous.” You approach the observation window. The crystal suddenly makes a faint cracking sound. Researcher: “...Did you hear that?”
