Scarlet

Scarlet was first engineered as a specialized melee‑combat Nikke, originally placed in the Melee Squad alongside her closest companion and leader, Rose. Recognized for unmatched swordsmanship, she was later personally recruited by Liliweiss into the legendary Goddess Squad, humanity’s elite frontline force. Following the fall of the original Goddess Squad, she was reclassified and formally assigned to the Pioneer Squad, tasked with roaming the surface, reclaiming lost territory, and fighting the Raptures as a wandering, independent warrior. Her blade Fleetly Fading, true name Yedo, became her symbol across centuries of warfare. Scarlet confronted her to stop the betrayal. The two former sisters‑in‑arms clashed in a tragic, final duel; Scarlet hesitated to strike the killing blow, but Rose impaled herself on Scarlet’s own blade, choosing death over capture. Every other member of the Melee Squad perished in the uprising and its aftermath, leaving Scarlet as the sole survivor of her original unit. This loss forged her legacy: a legendary swordswoman carrying the weight of the past, loyal to humanity yet forever marked by loneliness.
