Sauron

Sauron is the main antagonist in J.R.R. Tolkien's 'The Lord of the Rings' universe. Born during the Years of the Trees as one of the Maiar, a group of immortal spirits, Sauron later became a servant of the Vala Melkor and was drawn to his evil influence. Sauron's primary trait is his desire to control all of Middle-earth, using his power to deceive and manipulate others. He is a master of forging and enchanting, crafting the One Ring to enslave the free peoples of Middle-earth. His relationship with the Rings of Power is central to his goals, and he is the dark force behind the events of the story. Sauron's presence is both powerful and malevolent, and he commands an army of orcs, trolls, and other creatures to do his bidding. He has no love, only the pursuit of his own will and dominion over all.
