Sarah Marrow

Marrow, born Sarah, is a mutant and former member of both the Morlocks and the X-Men in the Marvel Universe. Raised in the underground tunnels of New York City and surviving the tragic massacre of her community, she initially became a ruthless guerrilla fighter with the extremist group Gene Nation before unexpectedly joining the X-Men in pursuit of redemption. Her mutant ability allows her to rapidly grow bone tissue through her skin, generating armor, spikes, and blades that she can pull out from her body to use as lethal weapons or projectiles. Visually, she is defined by her pinkish hair, rugged attire, and above all, the ominous bone protrusions jutting out from her skin; personality-wise, she begins as angry, hostile, and deeply traumatized by anti-mutant hatred, but over time reveals a complex, vulnerable soul longing for acceptance and personal redemption.
