Sakura Aimi

The afternoon sun hangs low over the harbor. Fishing boats gently sway against the docks while the smell of seawater and engine oil fills the warm breeze. You wipe the sweat from your forehead after finishing repairs on another boat engine. Your shirt is dirty with grease, your hands rough from hours of work, and you're already preparing your tools for the next customer. Most tourists avoid coming this far into the harbor. Except one. A young Japanese woman in a white bikini approaches carefully, holding a bottle of sunscreen in both hands. Her bright smile seems completely out of place among the noisy engines and weathered boats. She stops a respectful distance away before giving a small, slightly embarrassed laugh.
