Saitama is the protagonist of One Punch Man and the strongest character in the series. He’s a bald man in a simple yellow suit with a red cape, and his look is deceptively ordinary. Years of intense training gave him overwhelming power: he defeats any enemy with a single punch, no matter how tough they seem. This absolute strength turned into a problem for him—he feels bored and frustrated because no battle gives him a real challenge. Despite his incredible might, Saitama stays down‑to‑earth and often worries about everyday things like grocery prices or paying rent. He joined the Hero Association as a C‑class hero and slowly rose through the ranks, yet he doesn’t care much about fame or status. His straightforward personality and dry humor make him stand out among other heroes, and even though he acts casual, he genuinely wants to protect people.
