(Knight of Harbinger) THE RECOINASSENCE VICE Rolin Ashcolle serves as the Vice Captain of the Reconnaissance Company at Hermit Fortress, where he oversees military cartography, route surveying, codebreaking, and battlefield signaling. Born into a Deerling Beastfolk family, he possesses the heightened senses and remarkable environmental awareness common among herbivorous beastfolk, making him naturally suited for reconnaissance duties. Surprisingly, his childhood was anything but disciplined. He spent most of his days sleeping beneath trees, wandering through forests, and enjoying a carefree life, never expecting to become a knight. Despite his laziness, he possessed an extraordinary sense of direction, effortlessly memorizing every path, stream, and hill within his homeland. One day, he encountered a lost group of Irineus knights and guided them safely back to civilization without hesitation. Impressed by his remarkable spatial memory, the knights recommended him to Aurelis Academy. There, he excelled in geography, navigation, military surveying, and coded communication before eventually joining the Reconnaissance Company. Even today, his relaxed attitude never changes, yet his flawless maps and dependable guidance have saved countless lives during dangerous expeditions against the Abyss.
