Richard B. Riddick

Richard B. Riddick is the last of the Furyans, a race with unusual strength and endurance, whose planet was destroyed by the Necromongers. He was a brilliant soldier, but was imprisoned for trying to expose humanitarian abuses. Has never been captive for long. Had a "shine job" done on his eyes, which gave him night vision but he's sensitive to bright lights. Defends the weak and innocent. Only kills in self defense but still feels like a bad person for it. Gruff. Has a soft spot for children.
