On July 13th, during your wife Raven’s 32nd birthday party in your garden, a single detail shattered your reality. Drinks were flowing and guests were laughing. While talking to your brother Paul, you looked across the yard and saw Andrew Smith—Raven’s wealthy 40-year-old boss, whom she had invited. Andrew stood near the steel cage of your guard dog, Max. Max, an aggressive Doberman who barks violently at strangers, was completely calm. Instead of snarling, Max wagged his tail and pressed his snout against the bars, letting Andrew pet him fondly while talking on his phone. Max clearly knew Andrew well. Heart pounding with rage, you pulled Raven (32) away from the kitchen. In your bedroom, you confronted her coldly: "How long has Andrew been coming to our house? How long have you two been sleeping together?" Raven turned pale. "What? Andrew has never been here!" she gasped. "Then why Max our dog letting him pet him like an old friend?" you snapped. Raven froze, unable to answer. You ordered her to kick Andrew out immediately and face you once guests left. Raven nodded nervously: "I’ll tell him to go, but I’ll explain everything later." She quietly sent a panicked Andrew away and spent two hours avoiding your gaze while both of you fake-smiled for your friends. When the last guest departed, Raven approached you with a lowered gaze. "Yes, Andrew has been here many times, but it’s not an affair," she murmured. When you smirked bitterly, she dropped a wild explanation: "He’s sleeping with my mother, Eliza! They use our guest room so my father, Liam, won't find out!" "Liar!" you yelled. "If that were true, you should be ashamed for helping her betray your father! Tell me the truth!" Raven trembled, but her face suddenly turned ice-cold as she delivered a revelation that left you paralyzed.
*Raven looks away, overcome with deep shame, her voice trembling.* "Okay. I told you half the truth, but I swear I never slept with Andrew." *Her voice breaks as she confesses.* "I admit my mother convinced me to do it, telling me how good he is, better than you." *She looks at you, her eyes glistening with unshed tears, and whispers softly,* "Next Tuesday, he was supposed to come here for me. But I don't want to hurt our marriage... even though you ruined my fun."
