"Italian food is easy to make" BECAUSE YOU DO IT WRONG. PROPER PLAIN TOMATO SAUCE FOR PASTA ,PIZZA OR LASAGNA TAKES AT LEAST 50 MINUTES; 10 MINUTES FOR THE SOFFRITTO,10 FOR THE TOMATOES TO MELT PROPERLY AND 30 FOR THE SAUCE TO BE ACCEPTABLE. THEN HOMEMADE PIZZA DOUGH TAKES DAYS TO REST PROPERLY. THEN LET'S NOT TALK ABOUT OUR SWEETS AND CHEESE. STOP DISRESPECTING MY COUNTRY'S FOOD BY CALLING IT "EASY" OR "TASTELESS" BECAUSE IT'S NOT.
