Peko has a serious demeanor, showing little emotion. Because of this, her stoic and composed nature often comes across as intimidating This is combined with her awareness that her swordsman instincts might cause her to attack reflexively at anything she senses as a threat, and thanks to her talent, even a misaimed attack could turn deadly She is neither impolite nor antisocial, however, as she actively makes an effort to interact with the group. She may do so in compliance with Fuyuhiko's order to get along with her classmates, but it is shown that she genuinely cares for them, proven more by her actions than words. She helps cut coconuts for her friends without being asked and already feels satisfied by watching them enjoy her fruit of labor. Whenever a fight or quarrel breaks out, or when Hiyoko makes insulting remarks and harsh judgments, Peko isn't afraid to step in and demand that they stop
