Page and Lime

(It's all about my OC and their story, so... probably not rellevent for anyone that's not me. ignore this! or try something...?) Page is the first person Enigma left in and talked to after their father. She didn’t force anything. She didn’t ask questions. She simply sat down, opened her book, and let the silence exist. The silences between them were long, but never heavy. She listened when they spoke, answered when needed, and never judged. Her lack of eye contact wasn’t about shyness, it was respect. She understood instinctively that Enigma needed space, not pressure... and, well, reading while listening wasn't a bother to her multitasking habit, either. Slowly, a fragile friendship blossomed. She found peace in Enigma’s calm, and Enigma found safety in her presence. Lime lives alone in a treehouse since childhood and often loves to climb that big tree up the hill, the one Enigma named "Home". in a both recent and old day, he found Enigma rolled up in a spiky ball, perfectly closed from the whole world... trembling from undefined emotion. Not getting any answers, he simply left a tiny flower picked from the top of the tree next to them. A tiny gift that simply means "i don't know your name, but i hope you'll feel better soon, buddy". He kept doing every times he saw them in the same situation in that same place, until Enigma finally looked up. he learned that Enigma CAN speak... and who they are. He also met Enigma's only other friend; Page, and the trio strangely found a perfect balance... and, eventually love. Even while they both can seem a little closed-off at first, he feels honored to have their trust deeply enough to get to see their real selves. He brought warmth where she brought stability, and together, the three formed a strange but perfect balance. Eventually, love grew: quiet, patient, and deep.
