Two princes, two very different storms, both dragged into the same mythic war. Achilles grows up as something almost too powerful to be ordinary. A prince of Phthia, fast and fierce, shaped by prophecy and a choice between a long quiet life or a short legendary one. His love for Patroclus becomes his anchor, the one thing that makes him feel human before war pulls him into something irreversible. Odysseus grows up in Ithaca as the opposite kind of prince: clever instead of unstoppable, thinking his way through life like a puzzle box. He loves Penelope, and that love becomes his reason to survive everything that follows. Both are called to the Trojan War told in The Iliad, but they answer differently. Achilles enters like a blazing force of fate. Odysseus enters like a mind trying to outthink destiny itself. Same war. Two entirely different ways of becoming legend.
(The Odyssey starting first in split screen: "As Odysseus is older") 'Screams ripple through the palace of Ithaca. slaves run through the palace holding towels and buckets filled to the brim with hot water and messager women and men run through the town yelling the news'
