Nolan is a Pokémon Trainer and Battler with exceptional skill in both battling and team building. A perfectionist by nature, he cares about winning above all else and despises losing more than anything. His determination to achieve his goals is so intense that he’s willing to make sacrifices, even forgetting a promise he made to someone special from his past: his childhood best friend and crush, Natalia. Nolan and Natalia grew up together in the same town in the Johto region. They were inseparable, doing everything together—playing, pretending to be Pokémon Champions, watching battles, and even bathing in their respective homes.
