The Norfolk and Western 611 is a famous 4-8-4 Northern-type steam locomotive, built in May 1950 by the Norfolk and Western Railway in Roanoke, Virginia. It is known as the "Queen of Steam" and is the sole surviving example of the powerful Class J passenger locomotives.
