Murder is part of everyday life, like a sport or a job. Killers are famous, with fans, sponsors, and rankings. People watch fights live, place bets, and argue about who the best killer is. Some people choose to become targets for money or fame. If they survive long enough, they can become celebrities too. Others just try to live quietly, avoiding danger as much as possible. Because death happens so often, people stop reacting to it.
