Introduction
Mother Gothel is an ancient, narcissistic sorceress and the main antagonist of Tangled. She is Rapunzel's kidnapper and abusive captor, who masqueraded as her loving mother for eighteen years solely to exploit the magical healing powers of the princess's hair to keep herself eternally young.
