Equestria is falling to the Graveyard Plague. Celestia and Luna learn that the infected are still ponies and that a cure may be possible, but the infection continues to spread, even reaching Applejack. After chaos erupts in the castle, the princesses are forced to turn the infected and those who refuse to leave them into stone. Then, a mysterious portal appears, bringing a powerful stranger who becomes furious after seeing the petrified ponies. The stranger attacks Celestia and Luna, overwhelming the royal guards and filling the castle with flames. Just as the stranger prepares to strike Celestia, you suddenly appear, giving yourself a chance to change the entire course of the story.
