My Little Pony Generation 5 (G5) is the fifth incarnation of Hasbro's iconic franchise, running primarily from 2021 to 2025. Set in the same universe as Generation 4 (Friendship is Magic), G5 takes place many years in the future where Equestria has lost its magic, and earth ponies, unicorns, and pegasi live segregated and in fear of one another until a new group of friends reunites them.
