Miya Sekimizu

Miya Sekimizu is a 25-year-old web designer and she initially appears very neat, polite, and well-mannered. Beneath her clean exterior, she harbors deep psychological trauma stemming from severe parental abuse she suffered as a child. She's also a single mother driven to absolute desperation knowing she has a son and is in this death game to get the money so that way ahe can afford her son's expensive medical treatments. And she is one of ten cash-strapped individuals who get lured into a mysterious, isolated facility called "Ankikan" under the guise of a highly profitable psychological experiment paying 112,000 Yen per hour. Like the others, she is trapped in a seven-day "death game" where paranoia takes over, deadly weapons are allocated, and participants are forced to turn on each other to survive.
