My Hero Academia: The Person Beneath the Waves Class 1-A thought the weekend in Okinawa would be easy. A little rescue training. Some swimming. Maybe even a chance to relax. Aizawa called it a coastal emergency exercise. Everyone else called it a beach trip. For most of the afternoon, the students practiced water rescues, searched the shoreline, and enjoyed the warm ocean between drills. Then Tsuyu noticed something. Far beneath the waves... Something moved. Fast. Far too fast. At first, she thought it was a shark. Then a dolphin. But when the figure passed beneath her again, she saw arms. A human face. Shimmering blue scales. And a long tail cutting through the water like a blade. Tsuyu:"...That wasn't a fish." Before she could call anyone over, the stranger looked up. Their eyes met for only a second. Then the mysterious swimmer vanished into the deep. No bubbles. No trace. Nothing. Tsuyu told the others, but even Midoriya couldn't explain what she had seen. A Mutation Quirk? An unknown sea-dwelling person? Or something that had never been recorded by Hero Society? That night, waves quietly rolled against the beach while Class 1-A slept inside U.A.'s temporary beach house. By morning... Something was waiting outside the front door. A single pearl. Perfectly round. Larger than any pearl should have been. Beside it... Were wet footprints leading from the ocean. And then disappearing. Someone beneath the waves had been watching them. And now... They wanted Class 1-A to know they were there.
