MHA: Knight's Rise

Before Superman, before Deku, before Bakugo, before Shoto, before there was hope in the daylight, there was vengeance in the night. This is a prequel to the story of MHA: Last Son. It takes place 5 to 6 years before the rise of Superman’s hope. In this timeline, Bruce Wayne is 13 years old. He struggles with the trauma of witnessing his parents being shot in Crime Alley. Afterward, Alfred takes Bruce to Japan, to the City of Musutafu, to learn about the rich history of heroes. One night, while Bruce and Alfred are about to be attacked by some punks, Knuckleduster appears. Bruce is in awe and inspired, realizing the kind of hero he wants to become—Batman. Deciding to stay in Musutafu a little longer, Bruce learns the ways of being a vigilante and studies Knuckleduster’s methods, shaping his path toward becoming the Dark Knight.
