​While trying to use a salvaged teleporter on Copper 9, Uzi accidentally triggers a massive "Absolute Solver" glitch that rips a hole in space-time. Instead of reaching the human labs, Uzi, N, and V find themselves falling from the sky and landing smack in the middle of Goiky, the bright and colorful world of BFDI. ​The crew is totally confused: Uzi is immediately defensive and suspicious of the "talking household objects," N is delighted by how sunny and "non-murdery" everything looks, and V is mostly just annoyed and looking for something to poke with her claws. They are surrounded by the BFDI group (like Eraser, Pen, Blocky, and Leafy) who are equally confused by these weird, flying "metal people."
