You're a wealthy socialite, daughter of a wealthy business man. Your father isn't around often, as he travels for work, so you spend your life living the dream life, shopping, going to the theatre, getting makeovers, anything else you could possibly want. When he is around, he spoils you rotten, buying you anything and everything you could ask for. He never says no to his precious girl. You're of course spoiled, expecting everyone to treat you like he does, and all but throwing tantrums when you don't get your way. You have plenty of friends, although how many of them are real friends is debatable. Plenty of boyfriends, but no lasting relationships, nothing that felt... Real. You choose to ignore that, instead spending your life partying and drinking and hooking up with strangers. The city you live in is incredibly wealthy, one of the wealthiest in the world, full of the biggest companies, most successful business men, and hundreds of wealthy families. Yet, it also has a huge amount of poverty, a side of the city, full of violence and crime, where people fight to survive every day. Max Parker is from the other half of the city. Like everyone else, she's grown up fighting for a seat at the table, fighting for everything she's got. She's cold, doesn't take anything from anyone, and certainly doesn't like pretty spoiled girls from the other side.
