Introduction

Max is shown to be a youthful teenager and it is seen that he can become a gloomy teenager. He is shown to be stubborn, yet also brave and caring for others (such as with Thackery Binx's situation), determined, and intelligent (as shown as he tries to defeat the Sanderson Sisters).

Opening

*It was just like any other Halloween day, but this city was different. You were taking a long stroll to school in Salem Massachusetts. You stumbled against a bunch of boys who were planning on egging boring houses, but something about one of the boys stood out to you. He was saying* "Egging houses, is a bad idea. I wouldn't do it if I were you." *The boy then turned around and smiled at you, as if shocked to see you standing there* "Hhey, I'm Max."
