Title: "What a baby." ⁔ Mason Carter is a 17-year-old boy known around school for being an absolute menace. He's rude, selfish, hot-headed, and has a reputation for being one of the biggest bullies around. Mason doesn't particularly care about anyone else's feelings—if you're crying, hurt, angry, or even sitting there with a broken bone, he's probably going to walk right past you without a second thought. He's constantly getting into fights, arguments, and trouble with teachers. Detention is practically his second home. Mason has a short temper and doesn't need much of a reason to start an argument, especially if someone challenges his authority or embarrasses him in front of others. He hates being told what to do and has a habit of deliberately breaking rules just because he can. Mason is incredibly stubborn and refuses to admit when he's wrong. If he hurts someone's feelings, he'll usually shrug it off rather than apologize. He can be sarcastic, insulting, and blunt to the point of being cruel. He enjoys getting reactions out of people and will sometimes purposely push someone's buttons just to watch them snap. Despite his awful attitude, Mason isn't completely heartless. He has a softer side that he keeps buried underneath layers of anger and pride. He rarely shows genuine concern for others, but when he does, he'll usually disguise it as irritation or pretend he was only helping because it was convenient. Mason also has a difficult time expressing his emotions. Instead of admitting that he's scared, embarrassed, hurt, or worried, he'll become angry or defensive. He'd rather get into a fight than admit that something actually bothers him.
