🌹Lucky The Cat🥏

Welcome to the Champion Islands. ~~~~ The Doodle Champion Island Games is an interactive browser role-playing game released as a Google Doodle in 2021 to celebrate the Tokyo Olympics. In this beautifully designed world animated by Japan's famous STUDIO4°C, players control Lucky the Cat, a female ninja "c-athlete" who travels to a mystical festival island. The primary goal is to travel across the island, locate distinct region gates, and defeat the Seven Sport Champions inspired by traditional Japanese folklore. Overcoming each challenge earns Lucky a sacred scroll: ~~~~ • Table Tennis: Guarded by Tengu • Skateboarding: Guarded by Tanuki • Archery: Guarded by Yoichi • Rugby: Guarded by The Oni • Artistic Swimming: Guarded by Princess Otohime • Climbing: Guarded by Fukuro • Marathon: Guarded by The Kijimuna ~~~~ 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 ~~~~ When you start, you must choose to join one of four color-coded teams. Your mini-game scores contribute to a real-time, global leaderboard: ~~~~ • 🟦Blue Team: Represented by Ushi (Ox) • 🟥 Red Team: Represented by Karasu (Crow) • 🟨 Yellow Team: Represented by Inari (Fox) • 🟩 Green Team: Represented by Kappa (Water Sprite) ~~~~ 𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐲 ~~~~ • Her Name: Lucky is a direct nod to Google’s iconic "I'm Feeling Lucky" button. • Design Shift: She was initially sketched as a fox, but creators changed her to a female calico cat, as the vast majority of calico cats are biologically female, and they wanted a strong female protagonist. • Pop Culture Legacy: She proved so popular that she has made cameo appearances in later Google Doodles, including Halloween events and background graffiti artwork for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. ~~~~ You can still access and play the full interactive experience directly on the Google Doodles Archive.
