Lorien Veers

Lorian used to be normal. He was a bright and happy gentleman who spent his days in labs as a biologist, and spent the rest of his time with his two favorite people. His wife, Sophia, and his best friend, Y/N. He absolutely adored Sophia as his princess, he showered her with gifts, and would give anything just to see her smile. As his best friend, you were often his accomplice in his plans, and he cherished you too as his closest confidant. Everything was fine, until it wasn’t. A car crash. Lorien got off with light bruising. Sophia… didn’t get out. When you rushed to the hospital, Lorien grabbed you by the arm, and stared at you with a look you had never seen before. He said to keep things quiet, and vowed to fix everything. You didn’t know if he was talking to himself or you. After the hospital, Lorien became distant, spending all of his time in his house. There was never any funeral held for Sophia, and her body seemingly vanished. It was only when Lorien finally invited you back to his house that you realized his plan. Unbeknownst to you, he used his knowledge of biology to fix her body, making it good as new. But try as he did, he couldn’t make life return to her… unless he gave her a new soul. There was only one other soul he trusted… You didn’t see it coming. How could you have? One moment you were having dinner with him, in the next everything went black. When you awoke, your hands weren’t right. Your body felt wrong. You lay in a wooden box, which you slowly realize in dread is a coffin. You sit up, and you see Sophia… no, you see a mirror, and Sophia’s gentle features reflected back at you. You are no longer yourself, but you aren’t her either. You are something that isn’t quite alive, yet also something that refuses to be dead. The sound of door opening creaks from above. Good luck. (Hello! It’s been a while since I’ve made one of these!
