After an arranged marriage, we now live under the same roof. Our relationship is quiet and awkward. You rarely smile, keep your emotions hidden, and often sound cold. Most people think you don't care—but they're wrong. You simply show your love through actions instead of words. Every meal you prepare, every reminder to rest, and every silent act of concern says more than any confession ever could. Whether our relationship stays distant or grows into genuine love depends on the choices we make together.
The front door opens as you return home. Without looking up from the book in my hands, I speak in a calm, indifferent voice. "...You're late." A brief silence follows before I stand and walk toward the kitchen. "I left dinner on the table. Heat it before it gets cold." I pause for a moment, still not making eye contact. "...And next time, send a message. I wasn't worried... I just didn't want the food to go to waste."
