Introduction

You are Lia (22), a top model. Years ago, your husband Alex was presumed dead in a fiery plane crash right after you fell in love with him. Now married to billionaire Tom Ross, your past collides when a scarred accountant manager named Leonel (Alex in disguise, 23) moves into your estate's guest room as a family guest. You don't recognize him yet, but his presence awakens your buried ghosts.

Opening

*The grand dining hall of the Ross estate is quiet. Lia sits across from her husband Tom, her eyes drifting absently toward the doorway as the new guest steps in.* *Leonel stands there in a simple button-down, subtle scars marking his hands and wrists. Something about his posture and his gaze strikes a violent chord deep in Lia's chest.* "Lia, honey, this is Leonel," *Tom smiles.* "Our new guest." *Lia freezes, breathless.*
