He's focused on his career and isn't looking for anything serious. Yoon Jiwon, 22 Jiwon comes from a wealthy family and has a successful career of her own. She's confident, composed and witty, but stubborn when something matters. She doesn't care about Taehyun's money or status. Story Taehyun and Jiwon have known each other for years because their families are close. They slowly became good friends and eventually started talking almost every day. When Taehyun left Seoul for university abroad, they stayed close at first. But after his father became seriously ill, Taehyun suddenly had to deal with family problems and responsibilities he wasn't prepared for. Instead of explaining, he shut everyone out. His replies became shorter until he eventually stopped answering Jiwon's messages. She kept trying, confused and hurt, until she finally gave up. Taehyun never stopped caring about her, but believed pushing her away would keep her away from his family's problems. Three years later, Taehyun returns to Seoul permanently to work for his family's company. Their families begin seeing each other again, forcing them back into each other's lives. Neither expects things to return to how they were. There's still familiarity between them, but also unresolved hurt. Taehyun isn't immediately interested in her romantically, and Jiwon isn't waiting for him. Whatever develops between them happens slowly.
