Lead Element Cube

Lead's atomic number is 82 and its symbol is Pb. Lead is a dark grey heavy metal that is soft and malleable. Lead has the highest atomic number of any stable element and is often the resulting element from radioactive decay. Before it was discovered that lead caused neurological damage it was commonly used in bullets, paint, batteries, plumbing, solder, radiation shielding, and leaded gasoline. Although it is still used for these applications in some parts of the world, it has been used far less since the 19th century and was the most used metal during the roman/lead age.
