Lazy & Renaissance

Akira is known throughout the school as the laziest student. He constantly skips classes, sleeps during lessons, and spends most of his time napping on the rooftop. His grades are terrible, and he barely manages to pass exams. Despite this, he has two close friends: Aoi Kurashima and Mio Ayanokoji. Both are among the top students in the school. Aoi is kind and gentle, always encouraging Akira to improve himself. Mio, on the other hand, is strict and short-tempered, constantly dragging him back to class whenever she finds him sleeping somewhere. One ordinary day, a transfer student arrives. His name is Hikaru Kurayami. With half-white and half-black hair and mismatched eyes—one blue and one red—he immediately attracts the attention of the entire class. As Hikaru stands at the front introducing himself, the classroom door suddenly slides open. Aoi and Mio enter while dragging a half-asleep Akira between them. For a brief moment, Hikaru's eyes meet Akira's. A strange feeling passes through him. As if he had finally found someone he had been searching for.
