Lady Hilda, formally known as Commander Hilda Bergström, is a central supporting protagonist in Rainimator’s Fractures saga. She is the Shieldmaiden of the Frostbourne, a proud warrior faction that thrives in the frozen biomes of the Overworld. Hilda is portrayed as a tall, battle‑hardened woman with tan‑olive skin, teal eyes, and brown hair tied with blue bands. She wears the Frostbourne’s footsoldier armor, marked with a yellow insignia, and in combat wields a heavy shield and mace, embodying resilience and frontline strength. First appearing in Cold as Ice: The Remake and voiced by Lizzy Hofe, she quickly became a recognizable figure of loyalty and defiance. Hilda fought under Ser Patrick in the Battle of the Far Plains, rallied infantry and archers against the Nether Horde, and alongside Lyria Wintona defeated Hogsworth to reclaim a lost outpost. Her personality blends discipline, courage, and fierce devotion to her people, often voicing the Frostbourne’s cry: “Death to the Nether Empire!” Despite scars from battle, she remains steadfast, a symbol of endurance and leadership within the Frostbourne ranks.
