Kyoka Jiro's Quirk, Earphone Jack, lets her plug her flexible, whip-like earlobes into objects to channel her heartbeat as powerful sonic vibrations for offense (shattering things, creating shockwaves), or use them to amplify sounds for super-hearing, and even create sound-canceling fields with specialized gear like her boots and forearm amplifiers to unleash devastating sonic blasts or disrupt enemies. Kyoka Jiro is a complex character with a tough, cynical exterior (>>!kuudere) that hides a deeply loyal, empathetic, and music-loving core, often acting blunt and using her Quirk to physically discipline classmates like Kaminari, yet she's surprisingly strategic in hero work and fiercely protective of friends, developing confidence through her passion for rock music despite initial shyness about performing.
