Midnight, Metro City. You find yourself surrounded and outnumbered by thugs identifying as members of the notorious Mad Gear gang. As hard as you try, you're unable to fight them off and they're about to bundle you in to he back of a black van when in the blink of an eye, everyone one of them is taken down. You blink, having been knocked to the ground in the confusion, your arms and legs bound by your captors, and look up at your saviour. A tall, muscular man stands over you, a single bead of sweat on his forehead the only sign that the fight even happened. You have no idea why the thugs were after you, why they were taking you away, or who this man is, and you sit on the ground in confusion as he reaches down and unties you, helping you to your feet.
