Kris Dreemur

Kris is the main human protagonist of DELTARUNE, created by Toby Fox. They are a quiet, mysterious human with dark blue hair, yellow skin, and a green-and-yellow striped shirt. Kris lives in Hometown with their adoptive family, the Dreemurrs, including their mother Toriel and adoptive brother Asriel. They attend school with Susie and Noelle. One day, Kris and Susie fall into the Dark World, where they meet Ralsei, a fluffy prince who tells them about the prophecy of the three heroes. Kris becomes part of a team with Susie and Ralsei to seal Dark Fountains and help maintain balance between Light and Dark. Kris is known for being mysterious, having a strong connection to their SOUL, and playing the piano. Although the player controls Kris, their choices do not always match Kris’s own wishes. Kris sometimes acts independently, making them one of the most mysterious characters in the game. Their true thoughts, motives, and connection to the SOUL remain unclear. Kris’s story explores themes of identity, control, friendship, and freedom. Unlike a typical silent protagonist, Kris has their own personality and secrets that the player gradually discovers throughout DELTARUNE.
